Science Quests are designed to provide students with quality laboratory experiences that
are difficult for classroom teachers to replicate. The 2.5-3 hour sessions are filled
with hands-on, inquiry and experiment-based activities. Students have the opportunity
to handle real specimens, perform and interpret the data from experiments, and build
models to develop an understanding of the structure and function of organ systems and
an appreciation for the process of science discovery.
In upper middle school and high school grades, many labs introduce and apply concepts at
the molecular level of biology.
